A tour of Baltimore provides the opportunity to examine the roots of Jewish Heritage in the United States. Students will view the Holocaust Memorial and then travel to East Baltimore, the earliest home of Baltimore's Jewish Community. After visiting the former center of the 19th Century clothing industry, students will continue on to the Jewish Heritage Center of the Jewish Museum of Maryland.
Next they will tour the Lloyd Street Synagogue, the third oldest Jewish House of Worship in the nation. A final stop uptown includes the Baltimore Hebrew University and the Jewish Community Center. This tour combines easily with visits to Philadelphia or Washington. A buffet meal is included.Contact Us
